About Eugenio Corell

Eugenio Corell is the Chief Executive Officer of Payoro, a Canadian financial technology company focused on regulated money movement, cross border payouts and financial infrastructure for businesses operating internationally.

As CEO, Mr. Corell is responsible for the executive leadership of Payoro, including commercial strategy, product direction, revenue growth, partnerships, regulatory coordination and operational execution. His role is to lead Payoro’s continued development as a financial infrastructure company connecting traditional finance, embedded finance, payout technology and digital asset related services.

Payoro Finance Ltd., doing business as Payoro, is registered as a Money Services Business in Canada with FINTRAC registration number M23010441. Payoro Finance Ltd. is also registered with the Bank of Canada under the Retail Payment Activities Act.

Background

Mr. Corell joined Payoro in 2025 after a long career in fintech, investment, business development and international expansion. His professional background includes senior roles in companies working with neobanking, digital platforms, startup financing, corporate matchmaking, investment advisory and cross-border business development.

Before joining Payoro, Mr. Corell served as Spain Country Manager for Bunq, one of Europe’s leading neobanks. His work was connected to the development of digital banking services in Spain, a market where consumer expectations, regulatory requirements and banking infrastructure continue to evolve rapidly.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Corell was co-founder and managing partner of Nuclio Digital, a company created as part of the Nuclio ecosystem. His work included structuring company processes, supporting investment related activities, monitoring portfolio companies, working with boards and business plans, and leading digitalization projects.

Mr. Corell also held a senior role at Opportunity Network, where he was Managing Director for Latin America and Africa. Opportunity Network is a business matchmaking platform connecting qualified CEOs and investors internationally. In this role, Mr. Corell worked on the company’s expansion across Spain, Latin America and Africa, including partnerships and implementations with financial institutions in markets such as Peru, Spain, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and South Africa.

Mr. Corell has long been involved in the startup and investment ecosystem in Spain. His experience includes work with digital business models, startup financing, strategic projects and international business development. He has served as a mentor in entrepreneurship settings, including at ESADE Business School’s E3 Startup Weekend.

Mr. Corell graduated from the University of Barcelona in 2012, where he studied law and business administration.
As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Corell’s focus is on execution, growth and product clarity. His role is to make Payoro’s infrastructure commercially useful for merchants and platforms, operationally reliable for partners, and structured in a way that supports continued development across regulated international markets.
